This week, during yet another hectic photographic assignment, I was asked for the umpteenth time about my "interesting" footwear. This prompted me to photograph them and write to you about my most talked about and absolutely most favourite shoes I have ever bought and worn for so long.
I've owned Pair Number 5523 for 15 years and in that time they have enjoyed a lot of mileage and met a number of personalities such as Nelson Mandela, Fidel Castro, George Bush senior, Al Gore, Michael Jackson, etc... albeit from a worm's eye-view!
I have been wearing them every day since I bought them! Wherever I go, people always ask about them, then I go on and on about the perfect soft fit and finally, the cherry on the top, the tough, but great-looking elephant leather.
I refuse to be parted from this remarkable pair of boots which have complemented my lifestyle and my creativity over the years!
